South Salmara College is in the district of Dhubri, (now South Salmara ) Assam was started, forming a Sponsoring Body in a general meeting held on 5th of December 1986. South Salmara is a remote area of western Assam. The college was situated in South Salmara Bazar an old historical place from the British era.
